WHEN THE SAME FIGHT KEEPS HAPPENING

Sound familiar?

A small thing turns into a big fight. One of you pushes for answers. The other goes quiet. Nothing gets settled, and the house stays tense for days.

Maybe it's money, sex, the kids' schedule, or a parent with too much say. Maybe one of you is questioning your faith and the other isn't. From the outside you look fine. At home it doesn't feel that way.

Neither of you is the problem.
The loop is, and loops can change.

Our approach

A combined Eighteen Years of Experience.

Brooke and Nick are both trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy, a method built around that loop. It helps you see what each of you does when you feel shut out or criticized, and what's underneath it. Brooke also trains in the Gottman Method.

In a session, Brooke slows the argument down until you can both see what's under it. Then you practice saying it to each other, with her in the room.

One small next step

How it starts

01

Text Brooke.

A couple of lines about what's been going on is plenty. Please leave out private details for now.

02

Talk for a few minutes.

She'll answer your questions, and you'll both see if it feels right.

03

Come in together.

The first session is about finding your loop and what keeps it going.

A little clarity

Common
questions

How much does it cost?

We're self-pay, so we don't bill insurance. We can give you a receipt (a superbill) to send to your insurer for out-of-network reimbursement. HSA cards work. Ask Brooke about the current session rate when you connect.

Do we both need to come?

Yes, for couples therapy. If your partner isn't sure, start with a text anyway. Brooke can talk it through.

Will you take sides?

No. Brooke's focus is the relationship, and she'll be honest with both of you.

Do we have to be in crisis?

No. Plenty of couples come early.

Do you work with couples of faith?

Yes. Couples of faith and couples whose faith is changing are welcome.

Can we meet online?

Yes, anywhere in Utah. In person is at 603 E 4500 S in Millcreek.

Who will we meet with?

Brooke leads couples therapy sessions.
